溴化镍(II)

Nickel(II) bromide is used as a source of the bromide ion. It is an important raw material and intermediate used in synthetic chemistry. Further, it is used as a catalyst in cross-coupling reactions.It is used in the preparation of paramagnetic trans-diaquabis(N,N-diethylethylenediamine) nickel(II) bromide and diamagnetic bis(N,N-diethylethylenediamine)nickel(II) bromide.

Hygroscopic. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, bases, alkali metals and alkaline earth metals.
