| 应用 | (^+)-2-Octanol is used in flavors, paints and coatings, defoaming agent, low-volatility solvent, lubricants, fuels, paints and coatings. It is used as a frother in mineral floatation and wetting agent. It acts as an intermediate in the preparation of surfactants, cosmetic emollients esters and plasticizers. Further, it is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of pharmaceutical compounds and piperine derivatives. In addition to this, it is considered as an alternative of 2-ethylhexanol. |
