溴化钠

It is used in pharmaceutical applications, used in photographic processing and chemical intermediate for production of chemicals and bromides. It is widely used as an anticonvulsant. Also used for the preparation of drilling fluids, completion fluids and drilling muds formulations.

It is thermally and chemically stable. Hygroscopic. Sodium Bromide is non-flammable and when strongly heated it may emit bromine fumes.
