| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Erdosteine is a mucolytic drug with expectorant and antitussive effects. Erdosteine is quickly metabolized in vivo to free thiols which act as free radical scavengers. Erdosteine has also been shown to have antioxidant activity through the activation of Nrf2-dependent antioxidant genes and inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokines. |
