| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | PreQ1 (pre-queuosine1) is an intermediate of the queuosine pathway. Also, PreQ1 binds with high affinity to the aptamer of PreQ1 riboswitch, which attenuates protein expression. PreQ1 is a nucleobase derived from guanine and a precursor of the modified base queuosine that is present in four tRNAs. Prequeuosine (preQ1) riboswitches are RNA regulatory elements present in the 5′ UTR of genes that participates in the biosynthesis and transport of preQ1. |
