It stimulates the ubiquitin-mediated degradation of FUSE-binding protein (FUBP1), which is a transcription activator. AIMP2 activates tumor suppressor p53 and stimulates apoptosis. The assembly of macromolecular tRNA synthetase complex depends on AIMP2. |
