Rabbit Anti-CCBP2 antibody can be used for immunohistochemistry (4-8μg/ml, using paraffin-embedded tissues) and western blot (0.25μg/ml) applications.
Rabbit polyclonal anti-CCBP2 is used to tag chemokine binding protein-2 for detection and quantitation by immunocytochemical and immunohistochemical (IHC) techniques. It is used as a probe to determine the presence and roles of chemokine binding protein-2 in the resolution phase of the in vivo inflammatory response via the binding/scavenging of proinflammatoy cytokines.

Chemokine binding protein 2 (CCBP2, D6) is a β chemokine receptor expressed on lymphatic endothelial cells that binds a variety of proinflammatory cytokines to support the resolution phase of the in vivo inflammatory response. CCBP2/D6 is a chemokine-scavenging receptor that protects lymphatic surfaces from inflammatory CC-chemokines and minimizes interaction of inflammatory leukocytes with these surfaces.
