| General description【一般描述】 | Eukaryotic translation initiation factor 4 gamma 3 (EIF4G3) is involved in protein translation within the mammalian mRNA ribosome complex. EIF4G3 has been shown to be a target of cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) produced granzyme B (GrB) suggesting that EIF4G3 may be targeted by CTL cells as a mechanism to inhibit the use of host translational machinery by infectious viruses. |
