| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | KIAA1199 performs in cell signaling, adhesion, migration and proliferation in human cancers. In colon cancer, it is highly expressed in several cells including cytoplasm, perinuclear space and the cell membrane of adenocarcinomas and cochlea. It mediates hyaluronan (HA) depolymerization in an acidic cellular microenvironment such as clathrin-coated vesicles or early endosomes. In addition, it is also associated with the protein binding, transport, and folding; and Ca2+, G-protein, ephrin, and Wnt signaling. It has been reported that KIAA1199 may be negative regulator of the Wnt/CTNNB1 signaling pathway. |
