| General description【一般描述】 | MINK1 and MINK2 are serine/threonine protein kinases of the STE subfamily that may play a role in the response to environmental stress. They appears to act upstream of the JUN N-terminal pathway and may play a role in the development of the brain. Expression appears to be ubiquitous, highly expressed in the brain, moderately expressed in kidney and spleen, with lower levels present in heart and skeletal muscle. These proteins are up-regulated during post-natal brain development. |
