| General description【一般描述】 | Anti-RAB11FIP4 Antibody detects endogenous levels of total RAB11FIP4 protein. RAB11FIP4 (RAB11 family interacting protein 4) belongs to the Rab11-FIPs family of Rab11 interacting proteins. Rab11-FIP4 is the sixth member of the Rab11-FIP family. It has an EF-hand calcium-binding motif. This gene is located on human chromosome 17q11. |

| Biochem/physiol Actions【生化/生理作用】 | Rab11-FIPs performs important activities like recycling of cargo to the membrane surface, transport of membrane to the cleavage furrow or midbody at the time of cell division and connecting Rab11 to molecular motor proteins. RAB11FIP4 (RAB11 family interacting protein 4) plays a major role in the membrane trafficking in association with cytokinesis. Overexpression of FIP4 results in poor prognosis and promotes tumor progression in pancreatic cancer. |
