Anti-TEX14 antibody produced in rabbit is suitable for western blotting at a concentration of 1μg/mL.

TEX14 (Testis expressed 14) gene encodes a protein that contains three ankyrin repeats, a protein kinase domain and a leucine zipper dimerization motif. The mRNA of the encoded protein is predominantly expressed in the testis. TEX14 is essential for intercellular bridge formation during meiosis as well as in mitosis it facilitates the kinetochore-microtubule attachment. TEX14 interacts with CEP55 and inhibits the GPPX3Y motifs of ALIX and TSG101 from interacting and confining to the midbody. Hence, TEX14 blocks the cell abscission and transform midbodies into intercellular bridges.
