| General description【一般描述】 | The AP2 family of transcription factors is expressed during mammalian development, morphogenesis and in various malignancies. Transcription factor AP-2 epsilon (activating enhancer binding protein 2 epsilon) (TFAP2E, AP2epsilon) is expressed in skin and keratinocytes and melanocytes implicating it as a regulator of skin biology function such as melanophore differentiation. TFAP2E epigenetic modification has been implicated in colorectal cancer chemoresistance. |
