Lithium mupirocin selectively inhibits the growth of typical lactic acid bacteria from dairy products, such as Lactobacilli, Lactococci, Streptococci and Leuconostocs, while Bifidobacteria can grow uninhibited. |
| Application【应用】 | MUP Selective Supplement is used as a supplement for the preparation of TOS-MUP agar. It is suitable for the enumeration of Bifidobacteria in Dairy products (probiotics, yoghurts, yoghurt like products, and dried milk products such as Bifidobacteria containing infant milk formulae). |
