Brain Heart Infusion Broth is recommended for the cultivation of fastidious pathogenic microorganisms. Brain Heart Infusion Broth has been used as culture medium forStreptococcus pneumonia, Listeria monocytogenes, Leishmania promastigotes and Clostridium difficile.

Dissolve 37 g in 1 litre distilled water. Sterilize by autoclaving at 121℃ for 15 minutes.
