| General description【一般描述】 | Native ascorbate oxidase from Cucurbita species. Catalyzes oxidation of ascorbic acid to dehydroascorbic acid. Suitable for eliminating interference of ascorbic acid in clinical assays and for determination of ascorbic acid. Inhibited by azide, dithiocarbamate, and thiocyanate. Native ascorbate oxidase from Cucurbita species. A multi-copper-containing oxidase that catalyzes oxidation of ascorbic acid to dehydroascorbic acid. AO catalyses the four-electron reduction of dioxygen to water with concominant one-electron oxidation of the reducing organic substrate. Suitable for eliminating interference of ascorbic acid in clinical assays and for determination of ascorbic acid. Inhibited by azide, dithiocarbamate, and thiocyanate. |
