| General description【一般描述】 | MED4 Antibody: The mediator complex is a multi-protein transcriptional co-activator that is expressed ubiquitously in eukaryotes from yeast to mammals and is required for induction of RNA polymerase II (pol II) transcription by DNA binding transcription factor. One of the proteins in this complex is MED4. This protein has also been shown to be part of the vitamin D receptor interacting complex. MED4 was recently identified as an HIV dependency factor (HDF), suggesting that MED4 may be an important drug target in HIV treatment. |
| Immunogen【免疫原】 | MED4 antibody was raised against a 17 amino acid synthetic peptide from near the carboxy terminus of human MED4.The immunogen is located within the last 50 amino acids of MED4. |
| Application【应用】 | MED4 antibody can be used for detection of MED4 by Western blot at 0.5 μg/mL. Antibody can also be used for immunohistochemistry starting at 10 μg/mL. Antibody validated: Western Blot in human samples and Immunohistochemistry in human samples. All other applications and species not yet tested. |
