基本信息

General description【一般描述】 | CHK1 is a 56 kDa serine/threonine protein kinase that was originally identified in fission yeast to play a role in activation of the DNA damage checkpoint in the G2 phase of the cell cycle. CHK1 appears to function downstream of several of the known fission yeast checkpoint gene products, including that encoded by rad3+, a gene with sequence similarity to the ATM gene mutated in patients with ataxia telangiectasia. |
Physical form【外形】 | Supplied in 50 mM sodium phosphate, pH 7.0, 300 mM NaCl, 150 mM imidazole, 0.1 mM PMSF, 0.2 mM DTT, 25% glycerol. |
Preparation Note【制备说明】 | After opening, aliquot into smaller quantities and store at -70 ℃. Avoid repeating handling and multiple freeze/thaw cycles. |
