| General description【一般描述】 | The Granulated media is cold filterable and gamma-irradiated for the microbiological aseptic process simulation (Media Fill Test). The media are supplied in triple-wrapped and cleanroom ready for the ultimate security of aseptic process. It is granulated which guarantees excellent solubility even in cold water. Cold filterability is achieved by extensive testing comprising raw materials, pre-production samples, in-process and end product control |
| Application【应用】 | The broth is suitable for media fill tests according to the recommendations of the “FDA Aseptic Guide” in aseptic production lines. The exclusive use of raw materials of non-animal origin allows the elimination of a potential contamination risk with TSE/BSE. |
| Other Notes【其他说明】 | Mode of action: Thioglycolate Broth glucose, peptone from casein and yeast extract provide growth factors necessary for bacterial growth. The reducing agents thioglycolate and L-cystine ensure an anaerobiosis which is adequate even for fastidious anaerobes and prevent the accumulation of peroxides which are lethal to some microorganisms. The sulfhydryl groups of these substances inactivate arsenic, mercury and other heavy metal compounds. Thioglycolate media are thus suitable for the examination of materials which contain heavy metals or heavy metal preservatives. |
