The Cholesterol Efflux Assay Kit is a high-throughput screening assay that measures cholesterol efflux in cells using fluorescent-labeled cholesterol (λ_Ex = 482 nm/ λ_Em = 515 nm). It is suitable for serum, isolated, or recombinant lipoprotein samples. It may also be used to screen small molecules for their effect on cholesterol efflux and therefore, may be a valuable tool in drug discovery programs.
